The "elevator update" on recent progress

  • The Chromebook pilot continues to gain traction with over 140 now being tested in classrooms district-wide.
  • The number of Apple iPads in use is now over 600 devices district-wide.
  • The WiFi network continues to grow with the installation of additional access points, about 120 presently.
  • The replacement of all XP PCs continues and is on track for being completed next year.
  • This summer the Backup systems will be upgraded to improve security and performance.
