Academic Eligibility Program
Eligibility to Participate Weekly Report
Any student failing two or more subjects will be placed on the academically ineligible list. A student remains on the list until the grades are at a passing level on the next report card. An appeal for Academic Eligibility to participate in after-school activities may be made by having your teachers complete the weekly Teacher Feedback Form (linked below) by 2:45 p.m. each Friday to participate in the next week of activities.
In order to complete the google form, the student must email each teacher of record on Thursday evening requesting their feedback about the student's progress on the google form. Please be sure to include the dean and your coach. This way if a teacher is absent, you have demonstrated your attempt to get the form completed by the deadline. The time period being evaluated begins at 8:00 a.m. each Monday and through 2:45 p.m. each Friday.
Students who successfully demonstrate that they are participating fully and successfully in their academic program will then be considered eligible to participate in games, practices, and/or other events for the following week beginning at 2:45 p.m. each Friday through 2:45 p.m. the following Friday.
Students who fail to complete this weekly report will be considered ineligible to participate in any extracurricular for the same time period. Students receiving any "no" comments from staff will be considered ineligible to participate in sports or other extracurricular until the next week.
