Nick Predmore, Custodian - 2021 Recipient of the Annual Jamie Compese Memorial Award

Given in recognition of a support staff employee who displays a willingness to help others, has a caring and friendly attitude with a sense of humor, and is a positive influence on students.

This year's recipient of the award "is so highly respected and admired that in addition to nominations, a letter was received signed by numerous high school teachers. The letter and nominations described how the recipient embodies the characteristics of Jamie Compese in his day-to- day work as a custodian in the high school, a job Jamie Compese held during his employment at TCS. Reading the letter describing the recipient's qualities was like going back in time and fondly remembering the relationship Jamie had with the staff and students at the school. It was heartwarming to know that the high school staff and students were once again enjoying a custodian who loves kids and enjoys interacting with them and helping them. In addition, it was clear that this recipient also has a great sense of humor, is incredibly personable and friendly with all the staff, and does an amazing and efficient job as custodian. In light of this challenging year, it is particularly noteworthy to recognize someone who, similar to Jamie, takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond what is expected. The recipient's work ethic and positive attitude in the high school- workplace truly sounds just like Jamie Compese.

It is particularly meaningful to announce that the 2021 recipient for the Jamie Compese Memorial Award is Nick Predmore.
