2022-2023 Budget Proposition     YES = 455 / NO = 135

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO-WIT: RESOLVED, That the Board of Education for the Trumansburg Central School District, in the Counties of Tompkins, Schuyler, and Seneca New York, by and hereby is authorized to expend the sums set forth in the General Fund Appropriation in the amount of $30,201,002 and to levy the necessary tax therefore.

 

Purchase of School Bus Proposition     YES = 521 / NO = 75

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO-WIT RESOLVED:  That the Board of Education of the Trumansburg Central School District is hereby authorized to expend up to $131,000 from the existing vehicle and equipment reserve fund for acquisition of 1 full-sized conventional school bus.

 

Vehicle and Equipment Reserve Fund Proposition     YES = 489 / NO = 99

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO-WIT: RESOLVED, That the Board of Education for the Trumansburg Central School District, in the Counties of Tompkins, Schuyler, and Seneca New York, is hereby authorized, pursuant to Section 3651 of the Education Law, known as the Vehicle and Equipment Reserve Fund, to purchase a Groundsmaster 400-D (T4) with Universal Sunshade and expend therefore a gross sum of up to $79,000 and that the aforesaid total of up to the sum of $79,000 be expended from the Vehicle and Equipment Reserve Fund in accordance with Education Law and Local Finance Law.

 

Building Capital Reserve Fund Proposition     YES = 469 / NO = 117

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO-WIT: RESOLVED, That the Board of Education of the Trumansburg Central School District is hereby authorized to establish a Capital Reserve Fund pursuant to Section 3651 of the Education Law (to be known as the “2022 Building Capital Reserve Fund”), with the purpose of such fund being to finance site work, construction or reconstruction and equipping of school buildings and facilities, and costs incidental thereto, the ultimate amount of such fund to be $10,000,000, plus earnings thereon, the probable term of such fund to be 10 years, but such fund shall continue in existence until liquidated in accordance with the Education Law or until the funds are exhausted, and the sources from which the funds shall be obtained for such Reserve are (i) amounts from budgetary appropriations from time to time, and (ii) unappropriated fund balance made available by the Board of Education from time to time, and (iii) New York State Aid received and made available by the Board of Education from time to time, all as permitted by law. With the establishment of this fund, the remaining balance of the 2015 Capital Reserve Fund in the amount of $100,969 including any additional interest accrued will be transferred into this 2022 Building Capital Reserve Fund. At the conclusion of the current capital construction project, any remaining monies from the 2017 Capital Reserve Fund, up to $236,692 including accrued interest, will be transferred into this 2022 Building Capital Reserve.

 

Capital Reserve Fund Proposition     YES = 475 / NO = 111

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO-WIT RESOLVED:  That the Board of Education of the Trumansburg Central School District is hereby authorized to expend up to $1,149,616 from the 2022 Building Capital Reserve Fund for renovation of Instructional Technology Office and Storage Building including site drainage improvements.

 

Ulysses Philomathic Library Proposition     YES = 514 / NO = 83

SHALL THE FOLLOWING RESOLUTION BE ADOPTED, TO WIT:  RESOLVED that the board of education of the Trumansburg Central School District, in the counties of Tompkins, Schuyler, and Seneca, New York, is hereby authorized to raise the tax levy by $3,699 (from $118,497 to $122,196) for the support of the Ulysses Philomathic Library, and such sum shall be paid annually to the trustees of said library.
